Nick Mason (Pink Floyd, drummer) is well aware of the benefits of Evans Waterless Engine Coolants after converting his cherished Ferrari 250 GTO last year.
The world famous musician and auto racer called the Evans team to convert another classic legend, the Maserati 'Birdcage'. The ‘Birdcages’ were produced between 1959 and 1961 for racing events including the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance classic.
Nick is patron of the action group responsible for the rebuild of Europe’s first dragster the Allard Chrysler dragster which is also cooled by Evans.
The day the Evans team visited Nick’s base turned out to be quite an occasion as Chris Evans and the Children in Need ‘Magnificent Seven’ auction winners turned up with some of the most beautiful cars known to man.
